Nick Wainman co-owner of The Stove Cave has been in the building trade for almost 40 years covering all aspects of domestic and commercial works, including building new houses, total renovation, ground works and a wide range of extention’s and alterations. Nick has a City & Guilds advanced craft certificate and he and all the tradesmen employed by him to install your stove and flue are Hetas registered and qualified. The services we offer are aimed at making the whole purchase and installation process as simple and pain-free as possible.

No-obligation surveys
The Stove Cave offers a ‘no-obligation’ survey service to assess the feasibility and suitability (including all aspects of fitting the stoves & flues plus building work) of installing a stove in your home.
Building Work
Nick has been in the building trade since 1982 and is fully qualified in the following areas of expertise…
- Controlled demolishing of existing fire places
- Rebuilding fireplaces to the customers requirements eg: reclaimed brick fireplace, plaster board false chimney breast.
- Plastering

- Fitting hearths and beams
- All aspects of fitting flues and stoves
